e-lerts

Description

This was the first collaboration of the team which is now PPAutomation. A simple idea with powerful effects in your business. All it does is send emails based on queries written against a SQL database.

However it is clever enough to be able to send an email to more than one person; to include with that email an attachment which can be a detailed report; and to group the emails so that there is a chain of alerts.

So "what is the business benefit?" you might ask. The answer is that this is a hugely powerful tool to bring exception reporting into your business. Instead of one of your managers needing to get a monthly print-out of their WIP and noticing that one of their jobs is over budget, you can set up an e-lert so that they get an email the day that time is posted to the job which takes it over a pre-defined target. The partner then gets a linked email one week later if the manager has not done something about it.

Of course an alerting tool like this one is only useful if you know exactly what you need people to know. An additional benefit of the package is that we can guide you on what other firms have found useful in the past.

The cost for the basic package is £1,500 plus installation. Version 2 (released October 2009) operates within the Portal - and a licence for a restricted version of the Portal is included with the fee. There is an ongoing fee of £500 per annum after the first year. We can also write custom e-lerts for your business.
