Developed by our software team, the initial release of this software was in April 2003. This was branded as WebsterAccounts: an online accounting solution. We later re-engineered the software for the South African market to include preparing VAT returns every two months rather than quarterly. In 2007 we rebuilt the software using .xml so as to be at the forefront of developments in online filing and other data collection.

Our client can now offer the software for use by other firms for their own clients - and in some cases for their own businesses. In most cases you do not need to use the full functionality of the accounting software. So for example you could use our online expenses claims form, but then import the monthly summary into your existing accounting package as a journal.

PPA can design and build custom modifications for this software to suit particular purposes. We would recommend it for firms which have a group of clients in a specialist niche that they wish to service. It can also be modified to operate in other languages within the same system, which might be useful for a firm with a large group of clients who are less confident in English.
