Our Software

We are not a traditional software house. Our software is largely built in collaboration with particular clients for their own needs, and can then be made available for others. This can be as simple as a report in SQL built to extract information from your management system and present it in a particular way to suit your business. At the other extreme, our team has built an online accounting system.

Since 2007 we have been developing lots of applications in SharePoint, and since then any stand-alone software solutions have either been built in SharePoint or have the option to be presented in SharePoint.

We have several financial models which are agreed with clients for whom we write software. Generally PPA retain a share of the proceeds and the balance is split between the parties to the development.

e-lerts
A software tool that raises emails based on the results of a SQL query - requires a knowledge of SQL.

e-lerts for marketing
A tool to build on e-lerts that allows clients to write emails to clients and contacts based on criteria from their database - without knowing SQL. Emails can be timed to be sent overnight. The beta-test is now installed in clients and is working. Ask for details.

e-filer
An email filing tool that stores emails within a SharePoint database linked to Practice Engine or other practice management software.

e-ccounting
We built the online accounting software known as WebsterAccounts for a firm in the UK. We also built a system for an accounting company . We can provide a white label version of this product for other firms in the UK and South Africa. The software went live in 2002 and has since been re-written to be fully xml compliant. The software will also be utlised in certain key integrations with accounting systems.

e-nform
A tool within our Portal that allows you to gather information from your clients using web based forms. Installed in its first practice in April 2009.

- the glue for your IT systems
Initially a special database to link your SQL databases - e.g. Practice Management, tax software, Outlook etc. This is now being established as an industry standard in large practices and is included free in the licence for our major web parts. We call it interdata.

The next step was to build web parts in SharePoint using interdata to do specific tasks for clients. e.g. a tool to integrate Outlook with Practice Engine database. We have also built a Portal for another client within which the various web parts can operate. Clients are able to build their own web parts or to buy them from other software suppliers.

Shortly we will be adding the largest web part - a document filer. Taken with the document generation web part that we build for another client, we will then have a full document management system using the latest technology.
