Our Business Purpose

Our business purpose is to deliver simple effective advice and simple effective software to professional practices. Our existing customers are largely accounting firms with between 30 and 300 staff and other professional firms.

Our Approach

We advise your practice on business, on IT and most importantly on how they interact. It is key that every adviser has an extensive background in professional practices. We now develop software solutions for clients - largely to integrate the different software that you use to run your business and deliver solutions to clients e.g. Practice management software; Microsoft Office, Exchange, SharePoint; Tax & Accounting software etc. Often these solutions are then available for purchase by others.

The Future

We will continue to develop our software integration in partnership with our clients which can help make practices more efficient. In the future this will grow into a suite of solutions which can be bought as a package, and then the benefits of our software can be passed on to smaller accounting firms.

The firm started informally in 2007 with a working arrangement between Mark Ryan and his company Cynare Ltd with the software arm of Andrew Webster Limited a tax legal & accounting firm in Cambridge which developed software in-house to improve its own business.

This led to the development of e-lerts which Cynare sold to several of its larger accountancy clients. In 2008 it was agreed to co-fund the development of an email filer using Microsoft SharePoint to operate within the portal that had been developed by Andrew Webster Ltd.

Cynare had traded for over ten years and had built up a client base including a large number of the top 200 accountancy firms in the UK.

Finally, in 2009 the decision was made to merge the two businesses together.
